Spec · TCP v1.0

Context Transfer Protocol.

An open spec for shipping structured organizational context between systems — documents, taxonomy, entities, and provenance — in a form that any AI application can consume.

TCP defines a portable, versioned package format for organizational knowledge: a deterministic bundle of chunks, metadata, taxonomy links, and signed provenance. Agents, RAG pipelines, and AI IDEs can read a TCP package without needing to know which engine produced it.

The v1.0 specification document is being prepared for public release alongside a reference implementation and conformance test suite. Early implementers can request the draft spec directly.

Spec draft — v1.0 publish target 2026. Reference implementation in progress.
